Knowledge about the toilet(3)

In the previous two articles, we have introduced the initial selection and types of toilets.

Today, we will introduce the pit distance of toilets and how to deal with toilet leakage.

1. Installation Notes

(1) Pit distance

Before buying a toilet, we need to measure the pit distance, that is, the distance between the sinkhole and the wall. When measuring, we need to pay attention to that the size of the merchant is calculated by the size of the tile. The pit distance Generally it is 30cm or 40cm.

Tips:

It is forbidden to use cement to install during installation, otherwise the condensation and expansion of cement may break the porcelain body. It is recommended to install with glass glue (if you use glass glue to install, you should wait for the glass glue to cure before you can try flushing, and the glass glue usually takes 24 hours to cure) .

2. What to do if the toilet leaks

(1)Check whether the flush switch is reset

The plastic flush switch of some flush toilets has been worn for a long time and occasionally gets stuck and cannot be reset. Generally, it can be reset by repeating the switch several times. Check whether the rubber gasket of the drain port under the ball valve is aging and the seal is not tight, and it needs to be replaced if there is a problem.

(2)Check whether the connection between the spherical float of the water tank and the water inlet switch is loose

Whether the float is in place but the switch is not closed, resulting in continuous water inflow, and when the water is full, it will flow out from the upright drain pipe, as long as the connection between the float and the water valve switch is tightened. If the rubber ball valve is damaged, the seal is not tight, and water leakage occurs, it needs to be replaced immediately.

(3)The leakage of the water tank is basically the problem of the drain valve

Check the condition of the rubber plug of the water outlet of the water tank. If the rubber plug of the water outlet is damaged or blocked by foreign objects, the rubber plug is not tightly blocked, which will also cause the toilet to flow continuously. If the water supply pipe in the water tank is not placed correctly, it will be more or less affected.

Through these three articles, I hope to further improve your toilet purchase.
